Hi..
The May 2018 Trimester is here. My warmest welcome to the students.
Laying out the rules for the next 14-weeks:
1) Please respect your Teachers; Rude or disrespectful students in lectures
2) Please keep evidence - to defend yourself later
3) For students signing others' attendance, the student's Positive Attitude Development (20 Marks) will be reduced to zero
4) Playing games on smartphone in lectures
5) Attending these lectures and their contents are wasting time - please think carefully whether to stay or switch to other courses
6) No Final Exam tips on chapters; Related topics will be discussed starting Week 11-14 during the last 30 minutes of lecture
7) Make full use of your Consultation Hours - especially if you cannot hear in lectures
POSITIVE ATTITUDE DEVELOPMENTS, ATTENDANCE AND TEAMWORK comprise of:
4.1) Attending lectures diligently (with perseverance)
4.2) Honesty in signing attendance
4.3) Respect for the teachers - those who deliver the lectures & tutorials play different roles
4.4) Effort in writing assignment instead of just 'copy & paste' from websites
4.5) Be motivated and show some interest to learn both in tutorials and lectures.
